Dr. Edward Agbai

COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVE – CANADA

Dr. Agbai is the Canada Country of the World Association for Academic Doctors (WAAD), Inc. He holds a Ph.D. in Management with specialization in Leadership and Organizational Change, MSc in Project Management both from Walden University Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA; a Post Graduate Certificate in Project Management from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom; and HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Rivers State Polytechnic Bori, Nigeria. He is a member of various professional bodies like Project Management Institute PMI (Saskatoon Branch, Canada), the Nigerian Society of Engineer (NSE), and the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). A chartered member National Association of Technologist in Engineering (NATE) and a licensed Independent Financial Adviser with the Saskatchewan Insurance Council, Canada.

He is a dedicated Project Management Professional with a background in Engineering and Organizational Change Management and over 18 years of combined experience in leading and managing operations and changes management projects in the oil and gas industry. As a Resource Partner with Smart Alliance Consulting, a firm engaged in providing educational support services, he provides operational leadership, manages risk and change, and develops and sustains the growth of the firm. He started his career in 2000 with Eni Nigerian, a major player in the oil and gas sector of the Nigerian Economy. As Team Lead, he has experience in the coordination of operations activities, project planning, and engineering.
