Dr. Uchenna Ukachukwu

Dr. Uchenna Ukachukwu earned her PhD from Howard University in Community and Experimental Clinical Nutrition, Human and Food. She has over 21 years’ experience as a consultant, trainer, and Dietitian with Department of Human Services, Government of the District of Columbia, DC Village, Washington DC, USA. She coordinates and monitors dietetic/nutritional services to geriatric, chronically ill, and special needs clients. She also has professional certifications as a certified nutrition specialist and licensed nutritionist. As a certified instructor with the National Restaurant Educational Foundation she teaches ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Course along with administering the Secured/Regulated Certification Exam. Dr. Ukachukwu is a published author and has presented in the International Congress of Nutrition Symposium in London, United Kingdom, and several conferences. Her research interests are in the areas of Dietary Fiber, Food, Nutrition, Dietetics, and Healthcare Services.

Her professional affiliations are American Dietetic Association, American Home Economics Association, Organization of Nigerian Professionals, American Association of Nutritional Consultants, and American Public health Association. Dr. Ukachukwu is a philanthropist and belongs to many non-profit organizations.
